My Plan for Croydon

Thousands of people have let me know their priorities for Croydon - through speaking to me on the doorstep, filling in a survey or seeing me at one of my surgeries. I've listened carefully to everything you've told me, and I've come up with six key priorities that I will work tirelessly to achieve if I'm elected the next Member of Parliament for Croydon Central.

  • Help Croydon families with the cost of living

I grew up in Croydon, so I know what it's like to live and work in our community. From the price of a food shop and ending rip-off energy bills to freezing fuel duty and cutting income tax. I will always do all I can to grow our economy, create new jobs and reduce your cost of living.

  • Tackle crime in Croydon

I've lived in the heart of our bustling town centre for many years, that's why I know how important it is that the Conservatives are recruiting 20,000 extra police, building more prisons and giving officers more powers to protect our borough.

  • Funding our precious NHS

I was born in Mayday Hospital. Croydon Central's previous Conservative MP campaigned tirelessly for greater investment in our local hospital.

  • Campaign for our children

My wife is a teacher in Croydon, so I know how important it is that every child receives a superb education - regardless of which school they attend, or where they grow up.

  • Get Brexit Done!

I believe we should leave the EU as soon as possible to fulfill the democratic instruction given to us by the British people. I therefore fully support the Prime Minister's intention that we leave as soon as possible.

To do otherwise would shake the very foundations of our democracy.
